A Conversation for Black Women – Building an Economic Plan Tour Coming Soon

The California Black Women’s Collective Empowerment Institute, a 501C3 organization, is launching a tour throughout the state focused on empowering Black Women with information to improve their economic status. The Conversation for Black Women – Building an Economic Action Plan Tour, sponsored by BMO, will kick-off in the Summer and end in the late Fall. This tour will be informative, resource rich events that are designed to reset the conversation and to build the Economic Action Plan for Black Women in attendance. Attendees will connect with resources to help them including job coaches, recruiters, mentors, apprenticeship programs, homeownership counseling, financial planning, and entrepreneurship support.

Tour locations include San Diego (July 29), Solano (August 26), Sacramento (September 23), Oakland (October 14), Fresno (October 21), and Inland Empire (November 18). The statewide tour partners include California Black Media and Black Women Organized for Political Action. Registration information coming soon.
